take turn(s) 轉彎

走路或開車時，轉彎除了可以直接用動詞 turn 之外，也可以用動詞 take 加上名詞的 turn。如果要表達左右轉，可以這麼說：take a right/left turn。

例如：

A: Excuse me, where is the bathroom? 不好意思，請問廁所在哪？

B: Go straight down to the hallway, and take a right turn. You'll see the boys' bathroom on the left. 走廊直走然後右轉，左手邊就是男廁了。

dawn 指的是清晨太陽剛升起的時候，有一個片語：it dawn(ed) on someone that... 表示某人突然想通某件事。

例如：It just dawned on me that I have hurt your feelings. 我突然發現原來我已經傷到你了。
